This is the treatment of trigger points that can be found in muscles all around the body. Practitioners believe that many of the surface pain experienced by people are caused by the formation of trigger points (knots). The therapist applies manual pressure to release these knots and therefore, relieve pain and improve wellbeing

  • It is closely related to Dry Needling whereby acupuncture needles are used to release the trigger points
