The passage of low electric current through the skull to stimulate parts of the brain towards treatment. It is similar to TMS

Caution

1. Generally safe


2. Side effects include


  • Headaches


  • Nausea


  • Dizziness


  • Skin irritation


  • Flashes of light seen in the eye


3. Not safe in Epilepsy
