Nicotine is found naturally in Tobacco leaves. It is smoked as cigarettes, cigars or in pipes and similar contraptions. It is also found in smokeless vaping and patches. It has been in use for thousands of years and humans have relied on it for relaxation, alertness and social cohesion

Long term smoking can damage these organs:

  • Brain (Stroke) 


  • Mouth and Throat (cancer risk) 


  • Fertility (impotence and reduced fertility)

Nicotine without smoking: 


  • Is relatively much safer than smoked nicotine 


  • May slightly increase the risk of some cancers 


  • Research is ongoing
