This is the immersion of both feet in a liquid medium for a period of time. Epsom salt, apple cider vinegar or other herbs may be added to the solution. They are available in health spas or as home-use versions

Caution
  • Hot liquid may damage the skin of the foot

  • Sitting down for long periods without the legs actively moving may lead to clots in the leg

Therapy for:
  • Relaxation

  • Improving heart wellbeing

  • Mood booster

  • Foot cleansing

  • Removing toxins from the body

  • Treat foot pain

Comments
  • The skin plays a significant role in excreting waste, and the principles of foot baths may perhaps be based on this evidence

  • There is no scientific evidence that foot baths actually improve or increase excretion of toxins through the skin

  • Other unsupported claims include: balancing the body's pH and improving immunity

  • When Jesus washed the feet of the disciples (Gospel of John: 13), it seems to have ben out of a symbolic teaching about humility, and not about detoxification

  • Discuss your symptoms with a doctor or other healthcare giver
