A practitioner uses their hands to direct and intensify life energy (chi) to make the body stronger. The 'healing hands' may touch, hover, or be distant from the receiving individual. The specific name given to each type will depend upon the practitioner, the place of practice and the belief or non-beliefs associated with the process

  • The healing sessions can cause physical pain to some body parts


  • Energy healing as a single therapy is unlikely to cure diseases; always discuss your concerns with the healthcare giver
