The use of arts or other actions as a form of therapy through expression and creativity. The emphasis is not primarily on the end-product, results or achievements. Instead, the process of participation and creation is intended to be therapeutic for the mind and physical body of the individual
Caution
Choose wisely: although prior experience is not needed to join any of such activities, individuals must make choices that they can learn to tolerate
Care should be taken so that the chosen activity does not unwittingly transform into the mainstream, and thereby become another source of stress to the individual
In some people, isolated or one-person hobby may sometimes deepen loneliness and mental anguish
