It is the act of looking directly at the sun for long periods in order to improve self. It is usually done at sunrise or sunset when the dangers of ultraviolet eye damage seem to be at the lowest

Caution
  • Direct sunlight is harmful to the eyes and can cause blindness


  • Always wear eye protectors or sunshades


  • Bates method (sungazing to treat myopia) is harmful without benefits
