It is the injection of local anaesthetic into specific areas of the body in an effort to treat chronic pain. It is believed that diseases are often caused by 'disturbed fields' in the body (Störfeld), and the injection into specific areas is thought to switch-off the distortion, and restores order to health
Caution
Although it may temporarily reduce pain, there does not seem to be any long-term or sustained effect of this method
Adverse effects possible with needle injections include:
- Tissue damage

- Infection and sepsis
- Nerve damage
